Fitment and installation of GRP front splitters

The styling components from CSR Automotive are developed on the basis of 3D scans. The fitment accuracy of the raw data is therefore very good. Due to the material properties of GRP and the production process, GRP components can warp during manufacture. This cannot be avoided. Please therefore note the following:

GRP parts do not come out of the mold ready for painting. As GRP parts are manufactured by hand, the fitment accuracy is often more of a “good guide” than millimeter-perfect. You must always adapt, sand and paint GRP add-on parts before installation. If that is too much work for you, choose a front spoiler made from ABS plastic instead.

Important to note: in Germany, GRP add-on parts are supplied only with vehicle-specific Teilegutachten documentation.
